GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE
AASTANABLOG
1. Please try to post questions under their relevant chapters/headings. Prior classification of the subject matter under its right chapter will afford an easy search for future referencing.
2. If questions be short and precise, the answers will be swift and to the point. The space for questions is kept limited so as to serve the same objective.
3. Please try not to post multiple questions in one start. That will unduly tax the answering mechanism and cause hardships at this end.
4. This Quranic community believes in universal human fraternity and PEACE is the core message. All schools of thought and ideology are invited.
5. Utmost respect for humanity is the basic policy. Therefore, civil manners, decency and politeness are advocated.
6. No kind of rigidity, extremism, air of authority, religious edicts or final words are employed.
7. The fundamental goal is to explore and discover the original logic, reason, rationality and wisdom of Quranic constitution that can be intellectually and empirically established in this scientifically advanced world. And to set it free from myth, miracles, fantasies, superstitions, dogmas and rituals.
8. Use of impolite, offensive or abusive language and personal remarks of derogatory nature would disqualify you from AastanaBlog's membership.

Dear brother Saleem, Peace and blessings. My opinion here is that if your question could be more specific, pointing out the actual weakness of clarification on a certain topic which you have encountered, it would be easier to offer counter opinions or satisfactory answers by participants. Thank you.

I understand that the question and its answer fall within the prerogative of brother Dr. Qamar Zaman. I too am sorry that it has not been answered yet. I believe it is due to some preoccupation that has left Dr. Sahib with no time to go through the blog. And I hope he would kindly look into it soon. God bless you all.

In continuation of the above, one more thing. See the meaning of the Lord, accoding to Cambridge Advanced Learners’s Dictionary: lord noun /lɔːd/ /lɔːrd/ [C] • a male peer • INFORMAL a man who has a lot of power in a particular area of activity. So, the word Lord alone, in itself, is not necessarily an attribute of God Almighty. And no sacrilege to God is committ.........

Dear Sister Muniza, My gratitude to you for writing, as I was praying for other brethren to come up and answer the questions. Your participation would afford more life to this blog. First of all I may again clarify that history is not part of our Faith and Belief (while Quran is) and should not be allowed to play the role of a point-scoring and ego-strutting exercise. I do not th.........

Thanks for the link but another important question of mine remains unanswered.I repeat the question once again: " When we talk about religions other than Islam we use our reasoning faculty to its hilt but shy away in applying the same intelligence tool when it comes to testing the veracity of our religion viz., wahi, prophethood etc ."

Dear Brother Minaal, The answers to your questions are not difficult to find. Sahih Bokhar's Preface or 'Muqaddamah" should give you details about Imam Bukhari's life, teachers, achievements, etc. Or alternatively, Allama Kandhalvi's (Habib ur Rahman Siddiqi Kandhalvi) books will elaborate the narrators from whom Bukhari Sahib got ahadith "verified", and their "characters" too.........

dear brother Rehan, You question involves a great deal of detailed history. I would try to shorten it and sum up the material in a nut-shell so that you do not remain unanswered for long. I cannot pass any ruling upon its etymological details.........
