| Dear Bilal, regards, please don't go on personalities be rational and put both interpretations one by one at all verses related to" MALAIKA" at the specific subject in the quran, then see what infers in your mind regarding the malaika.I advise to read HAQEEQAT E MALAIKA time and again. | |
| Salaam ,I was also surprised when I read that Malaika can be human beings , but one thing that got me to read further and not just dismiss the idea was ,that I actually didnt find any Aya confirming that malaika is forces of nature .... i didnt find any aya referring to Malaika as forces of nature,,,,Shouldnt only the Quran tell us what/who Malaika is,,,coz it is the only truth from our Lord ? | |

| Friends,
Malaika being 'forces of nature' has up to recently been the most enlightened explanation. Those of us who did not believe in supernatural beings, coming out of the Grand Court of the Almighty, Lord of the Universe on different errands, had no alternative but to go along with Sir Syed's explanation. The later rational scholars also could not go beyond Sir Syed. Every generation usually lives within the parameters of their degree of mental evolution.
The tribute goes to Dr. Qamar Zaman who has just recently given this term its most practical, logical and rational meanings. When I think with logic, I see no reason why God would frequently refer to those forces that are invisible to man, and if they turn visible temporarily for a certain mission, what would they gain by showing miraculous powers. Men don't have to or don't need to deal with invisible super powers.
Malaika are the powerful, the influential people among us who can exert considerable pressure and influence upon human efforts. That's why God is frequently referring to them.
I wonder how this fact was concealed from the Muslim pioneers in the Golden Age of Islam. Some guys must have exercised a gigantic organised vicious planning and ruthless murderous follow up to force the public into believing in nonsense as against the reality. | |
