Dear brother,
I dont realy understand why you have come with this post. Islam is not a religion, but a Divine System of Life for all mankind. This comes from understanding the Quran.

Dear peer gee May God bless you,
Maneeza is correct to say that asking from a muslim about religion and its impacts is incorrect. Because we think Muslim is a character and he has nothing to do with religion.

Anyhow ...I do agree that religious differences is the biggest hurdle to achieving global peace and religion is the biggest obstacle to peace in the world today.

69% of adult Americans believe only what their tyrannical rulers have led them to believe.
I figure that the only obstacle to peace is the lust for power and wealth on the part of the “influential elite” of the human community – I may not say “the powerful, developed nations” alone are doing it, since the ‘elite’ of every nation is involved in this crime. It is the unending greed for more by those in the seats of authority throughout the globe.
Religions, in whatever forms they are, are used by these rulers to misguide people and to conceal their demonic targets and objectives behind a fake spiritual pride. They calculate, deliberate, plan, prepare and engage in merciless bloodshed and exploitation of weaker nations – in some cases, their own nations - and justify by labeling it as ‘crusade’ or ‘jihad’. The ‘poor religion’ is not the cause, but a tool in the hands of tyrants.

yes, you are very wright, but the religion is (and has been) the most powerfull instrument in this buring issue of the human community.

'Tool' and 'instrument' are synonymous brother Moazzam - which means both have the same meaning.
And a tool or an instrument does not work by itself. It is the hands that are using it that are important. And the hands are to be blamed not the tools or instruments. I hope I make myself clear by these few words.
This is my opinion after a life-long study of history of nations.

Thankyou aurangzaib bhai you are right. But the most of religions shows fruitless, nonproductive efforts in the communities, having sub diviosn of mankind and violances trends,so this is mostly the tool of terror in the hands of the human class you toled. So it shuold be discouraged.
