| An oversease friend asked this,I dont know the answer, can anyone?
1) Does god exist? Please answer without giving quranic quotes because they are useless for me. If I were to believe in quranic quotes then obviously I'd first have to believe in god. |

| Dear Mr Mohyam wish you the best of everything,
Putting such a question to me is strange, because I am a student of Quran and my logic and arguments depend upon Quran and since I do not go out of Quran so asking me to give answer on other bases is strage.
You can't confirm anything unless you see it .As you can't see God so you cant confirm the presence of God. But It does not mean that anything which you can't confirm does not exist. So many forces in the universe are working but an ordinar person cant confirm their existence. The knowledgeables of the field can confirm the presence of these forces.
In this expanding Universe you can't confirm Infinity. You Can not exactly divide digit 1 into three equal parts. So is the case of existence of God. Those who believe in His presence have their very strong arguments, and those who do not beleive in the presence of God have their strong arguments
As a student of Quran I can't keep myself away without quoting Quran It says in Sura 42/11
"There is nothing like unto him"
When there is no such thing that you can compare, you have no idea of his physical being then question of his presence does not arise.
The other verse no 103 of Sura no 6 further says,
"No human vision encompasses Him Whereas He encompasses all human visions".
So if you can't encompass Him why to bother wether He is present or not, What we should bother is the suffering of the humanity.
| Dear Q Z,
It is the most fundamental of questions about His existence we would not be suffering or humanity wont suffering if we knew the answer.
Dont you think the suffering of humanity depends on this alone???
If I ask nonbeliever of Quran to believe in Allha and his message how will I do that??
How can I convince him look here is ALLha the God i believe and you believe too?
Here it the right way to Allha follow this ...??
And on and on...it goes...
How did you come to know your God exist and non others??

| Dear brother,
I have seen your quetions and i think they are quite relevant. But brother if you read the Quran you can see how the Prophets were sent to people who did not believe in God and what they said to these people.
1. we have Ibrahim first pondering on creation, he looked at the starts, sun and moon. He saw that they were all under a Law, they did not come and go as they liked. so if they were under a law , that means there was something out there that had created them, them made them function under this law.. He found that everything in this world was under a law, so the question is it the man made gods, which man creats himself, that made , the sun, moon starts, trees, rain.etc in the universe, no so he accepted that there must be a mighty creator.
Also, he pondered upon if this one or many Creators,,, he found that it could only be one because if there were many, there would be caos in the universe, because many creators would just fight each other and hold their creations to them selves.
then we see in our selves,, how come everything funtions under laws? our creation from the mothers womb to our deaths.. even a tear which we drop, is all funtioning according to the same laws which make the universe function!
after this our food, how the system of rain, from falling into mountains coming down into streams which we then use in our fields for the growth of crops, and the crops, many and different altough they grow from the same earth.. then the water passes onto the sea, there is a barrier which stops the salt water coming into the streams from which we drink and sustain life, both animal and vegetable, it passes into the sea and becomes clouds again..
these and many signs are all around us, they are the, "miracles" which sustain ALL life on the planet,
The big bang when it happened if it had been just a millimeter under or over, the universe would either have exploded or imploded...who makes these laws? for a man of intelligent he should be able to now think and come to a conclusion..
i would recomend your friend reads a book by a hard core philospher who came to believe in God after 70 years of his life..
THERE IS A GOD by Andrew Flew..
your sis
plz tell me if that was enough for you or we can talk about this more, although i think it should be enough..
| Dear M,
Thanks for the comment but it is not enough. As a muslim it is ok to read the Quran and find the answer.BUUUUUUUT
I want to know how can I make a nonbeliever convince of His existence?
They want the evidence they want the proof otherwise their God it better than mine. They wont listen to me.
Stand in their shoes or stand on the other side for a minute and think about it.
Please just change the stance and ask the question yourself for once.
Thanks | |

| I think no creation can be created without a creater. The existence of this universe itself is a proof that there is a great power that caused it to come into existence. Creations do not happen by accidents or automatically.
Can our friend first prove that there is no power behind the creation of this universe? And the great, flawless discipline that controls it came into being just by accident? Let him prove his standpoint first!!!
| Dear A,
Thanks for your comment. No creator no creation.Good.
Who created that creator who created this creation?

| Who created that creator who created this creation? This is just speculative verbalism. This is a question out of a question! Isn't it dear brother MOHYAM? I hope you do not indulge in this kind of frivolities. This will be a waste of time for all of us. Man has not understood much of his own mental phenomena as yet!! How can he reach the Creator who is beyond all imaginations? | |
| Comments by: Maniza On Sunday, March 14, 2010 | | |
| Salam again,
Dear brother the reason i gave you excerpts from the Quran was that you can use these arguments WITHOUT saying they are from the Quran.. they are just logical questions which one puts forth to Non-Believers..
as for poverty, man is the only intelligent animal which was given free-will, if he uses that free will for his own desires he will stop the law of providing food for others, hence the poverty around the world,, if God wanted to do give everything to man , then we would have utopia here,
another thing, if the Creator was created, we then have the question again who created the first creator.. the word Creator means someone or something that Creates! so you did not read my post carefully... if you had you would have seen , the reason of just ONE creator, he cannot be a creator if he himself is created can he? you would then have caose in the universe with so many creators and wills going around.. plz read the posts carefully and ponder over them..
ps.. if your friends mean we ie man were created from monkeys , then that is also correct according to the Quran..
God created every group, and from the best of these he then created the best again.. hence the tree of evelution..
my dear if they dont believe then, leave them, because you will not answer for them.. .you have tried but their hearts are dead.

| Dear Brother Mohyam,
I am Alhamdulillah Going To Answer Your Question And Hope that it will make you believe in God.
See this email I just sent you, that you're reading
right now? This email is proof of the existence of God.
Yeah, I know, that sounds crazy. But I'm not asking you
to believe anything just yet, until you see the evidence for
yourself. All I ask is that you refrain from disbelieving
while I show you my proof. It only takes a minute to convey,
but it speaks to one of the most important questions of all
time.
So how is this email proof of the existence of God?
This email you're reading contains letters, words and
sentences. It contains a message that means something.
As long as you can read English, you can understand what
I'm saying.
You can do all kinds of things with this email. You
can read it on your computer screen. You can print it out on
your printer. You can read it out loud to a friend who's in
the same room as you are. You can call your friend and read it
to her over the telephone. You can save it as a Microsoft
WORD document. You can forward it to someone via email, or you
can post it on a website.
Regardless of how you copy it or where you send it,
the information remains the same. My email contains a message.
It contains information in the form of language. The message
is independent of the medium it is sent in.
Messages are not matter, even though they can be carried
by matter (like printing this email on a piece of paper).
Messages are not energy even though they can be carried
by energy (like the sound of my voice.)
Messages are immaterial. Information is itself a unique
kind of entity. It can be stored and transmitted and copied
in many forms, but the meaning still stays the same.
Messages can be in English, French or Chinese.
Or Morse Code. Or mating calls of birds. Or the Internet.
Or radio or television. Or computer programs or architect
blueprints or stone carvings. Every cell in your body
contains a message encoded in DNA, representing a complete
plan for you.
OK, so what does this have to do with God?
It's very simple. Messages, languages, and coded
information ONLY come from a mind. A mind that
agrees on an alphabet and a meaning of words and
sentences. A mind that expresses both desire and
intent.
Whether I use the simplest possible explanation,
such as the one I'm giving you here, or if we analyze
language with advanced mathematics and engineering
communication theory, we can say this with total
confidence:
"Messages, languages and coded information never,
ever come from anything else besides a mind.
No one has ever produced a single example of a message
that did not come from a mind."
Nature can create fascinating patterns - snowflakes,
sand dunes, crystals, stalagmites and stalactites. Tornadoes
and turbulence and cloud formations.
But non-living things cannot create language. They
*cannot* create codes. Rocks cannot think and they
cannot talk. And they cannot create information.
It is believed by some that life on planet earth arose
accidentally from the "primordial soup," the early ocean which
produced enzymes and eventually RNA, DNA, and primitive cells.
But there is still a problem with this theory: It fails to
answer the question, 'Where did the information come from?'
DNA is not merely a molecule. Nor is it simply a "pattern."
Yes, it contains chemicals and proteins, but those chemicals
are arranged to form an intricate language, in the exact same way
that English and Chinese and HTML are languages.
DNA has a four-letter alphabet, and structures very similar
to words, sentences and paragraphs. With very precise
instructions and systems that check for errors and correct them.
To the person who says that life arose naturally,
you need only ask: "Where did the information come from?
Show me just ONE example of a language that didn't come
from a mind."
As simple as this question is, I've personally presented it
in public presentations and Internet discussion forums for
more than four years. I've addressed more than 100,000 people,
including hostile, skeptical audiences who insist that
life arose without the assistance of God.
But to a person, none of them have ever been able to
explain where the information came from. This riddle is
"So simple any child can understand; so complex, no atheist
can solve."

| Dear brother Mohyam I have read your question that who created God.i am going to answer you it is so simple.First of all i will define God.My dear brother God is that;who has no creator .that who has no creator. i will tell you again God is that who has no creator.if you ask me who created God it is a silly question.consider a you are hearing music and i tell you what is the colour of music?can you answer me?of course not?why?because music has no colour?by defination music is colourless.similarly by definsation God has no creator.if somebody is the creator of God than God is not God that being is God who has created God.and this chain goes on at last you will reach a being who has no creator.so that is God Or Allah who has no creator.and we have to accept him because the universe could not have come into eistance on its own it need a highly intelligent being.because you know "nothing comes from nothing"but as far as God is concerned you can not apply this philosophy on God or any othe scintific logic.because God caused every thing .he created all the physical laws .biological fact.all of these have a beggining.today the science tells that the universe has a beggining and it was being created 14 billion years ago.so the universe is not eternal but God is eternal.therefror you can not apply the philosophy of cause and effect on God.how can you apply that laws on God that he has created himself.so the creator is above the creation.i agree with my atheist brothers that nothing is supernatural in this natural world.but one mistake they commit is that they say God is supernatural so we refuse it.brother nothing can be supernatural in this natural world but God is outside this natural and physical world.so decide yourself whether God eists or not.hope this is a satisfactory answer by this humble man of Allah Almighty. | |
| Dear Bilal sahib, your reply to my posts are very scientific and to the point indeed.
No doubts in my mind they are enlightning too.
May I also ask what part good and evil play on this planet when it comes to being poor, unhealthy, sickness and diseases.innocents being killed or murders for no reason at all?
Looking forward to your views on the above.
Thank you very much. | |

| My Brother Mohyam God has created this universe with some laws .there is a particular system throgh which God rules the universe.Allah has created this world to take our test for the hereafter.he has left us free.he has given us free will.but as he is so merciful he has given us his guidance the glorious quran.allah has left us to do anything bad or good.we can either kill the humanity or benifit it.whatever we do we will get the rezult in the hereafter.it is just like an examination that if you study well you will pass if you do not study you will fail.in the wordly examinations you are not given the question paper before your examination.but alhamdullah the examination that allah is taking is so easy because he has already given us his question paper that is the glorious quran.he has told us what to do in this examination to get through.what we have to do is just to follow the glorious quran.allah asks us to follow his book in quran allah say ' say i seek the refuge of the lord of the rising dawn from the evil aspects of things (surah 113 verse1-2).killing people is a bad aspect of a thing so we are not supposed to kill people.God has not created us to kill people rather he has created us to help, benefit and serve the people and we will get reward from allah.so brother God is Not responsible For the killing of innocent people.the duration of this world is so small to God and he will soon reward the oppressed and punish the tyrant.as far as poverity is concerned it is the rezult of a non islamic system that we can call as exploitation which is infact an anti islam system and God strongly condemmns it he gives us his quran to remove it.if you implement the quran in a country there will be no poverty.now i will answer you about sickness and God.
"Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and, He is Able to do all things. Who hath created life and death that He may try you, which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving. [Qur'an 67:1,2 ]
The purpose of life, then, is to pass the many many tests that we must undergo during our sojourn here on this earth. If we pass these examinations or trials, then there will be eternal rewards, but woe to us if we should fail them. Among the many possible tests, one of the examinations that we can be tested with is wealth or poverty. While it sure is nice to have material wealth because of the ease and comfort that it affords us, there is a hidden deception in it so that it is actually one of the more difficult tests for us to bear. Wealth, by it's very nature, has the potential to lead one astray far more easily than poverty ever could.
Allah s.w.t. says:
Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return": They are those on whom (descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance. [Qur'an 2:155-157 ]
It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces towards the East or West; but it is righteousness to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah-fearing. [Qur'an 2:177 ]
The parable of those who spend their substance in the way of Allah is that of a grain of corn: it groweth seven ears, and each ear hath a hundred grains. Allah giveth manifold increase to whom He pleaseth. And Allah careth for all and He knoweth all things. Those who spend their substance in the cause of Allah, and follow not up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury, for them their reward is with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. [Qur'an 2:261,262 ]
And render to the kindred their due rights, as (also) to those in want, and to the wayfarer. But squander not (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift. Verily spendthrifts are brothers of the Evil ones and the Evil one is to his Lord (himself) ungrateful.
Between the human being and God are just two veils—health and wealth—all other veils come from these. Those who are healthy do not look for God and do not see Him, but as soon as pain afflicts them they cry out, “O God! O God!” calling out and surrendering to God. Dr. Mahmud Es'ad Cosan says, "Sickness wakes people up from heedlessness, guides them to give up their sins, makes them think about the Hereafter, leads them to pious foundations; makes them more thankful to Allah, and teaches them the necessity of taking better care of their health and making better use of their life - something they didn't realise before - teaches them to understand other sick and pained people better, to feel sorry for them and to help them; and raises their ranks and degrees higher in the Hereafter."
brother i think it is clear now .if we be patient we will be rewarded byy god almighty.
God bless you.hope this is answer to your question
| Dear Bilal saheb,Thanks again, your views and Quranic references are highly appreciated.
There is some confusion arising about the authorship of Quran ..one shcool of thought.it is man made book one shcool of thought is that it is the work of Allha, since there are no manuscripts or he original left to search..
How did the Quran at its form today came to us ?
Is it the same original book existed at the time of the prophet as Allha gave him?
Did it come at once in book shape or in various stages??etc.
It is very condfusing to a neo muslim to follow so many sects and school of thought in Islam.
Do give your esteemed views.
Thanks again. | |

| Comments by: bilal_khan5181 On Wednesday, May 12, 2010 | Report Abuse | |
| Dear Brother Mohyam,
you questioned me that why there are so many sects in islam it is confusing for a new muslim to follow so many sects.Brother don't mind but you are wrong and do not know a bit of quran.Once again sorry.
Brother quran does not teach sects or division or any thing like that.Quran is the book of Allah.Allah is one and his deen is one.quran gives us a deen.it gives us a goal-oriented system which is islam.quran teaches us to be united to serve the humanity and become peaceful according to Allahs revealed values.quran says:
2/62: Innal Lazeena aamanu, wa allazina Hadu, wa annasara, wa assabi’ina, man aamana billahi wa alyaumul aakhirati, wa amila saalihan, fa lahum ajruhum ‘inda rabbihim, wa la khaufun alayhim wa la hum yahzanoon.
Meaning in simple words :
“Verily, those of you who have became peaceful, and those who are Jews, and those who are Christians, or whatever faith group they belong to, whosoever among them became peaceful according to Allah’s revealed values, and strived to usher in a new peaceful era and performed reformative/constructive deeds in that direction, the results will be that they will enjoy all the rights/rewards from their Nourisher (or their benevolent governments), and will face no fear or grief.”
so brother the purpose of quran is one and it does not teaches many sects.you will find shia, sunni, wahabi, davbandi and different sects.but these are not mentioned in quran. These are just man made things.these things are taught in number 2 islam(n2i).this is mullah islam.and it is nothing more than a mere religion, which is confined to some meaningless rituals like naman, roza ,haj etc.the true islam does not devide people in sects.in fact it unites people of different sects.Allah strongly condemns sects and says in quran:
You must hold fast, all of you together,to the bond of Allah and be not devided in sects.(chapter 3 verse 103).Dear brother the bond of God or the rope of God means the quran which is an unbreakable support according to chapter 2 verse256. the verse says:(Although this massage has been sent down by the Almighty)there is absolutely no compulsion or coersion in Deen.Whoever rejects false gods(such as clergies.Human authorities)and attains convintion in God .has grasped the unbreakable Support.God is hearer, knower.so brother i think it is now clear
to you that the true islam does not devide people in sects but unite the sects.plz tell if i am making some sence.
now i will answer your other quetions.brothet quran came in 23 three years it did not came at once.according to the reqirment God revealed its parts to the prophet muhammad (pbuh).and the present quran is exactly the same quran which was revealed to the prophet Muhammad.
You study the quran on yourself and than decide it is the book of Almighty or not.you will find nothing agaisnt humanity in islam.if it were from a human being i woloud not be in fever of the service of humanity.if you comare it with the other books you will find many errors in these books but in quran there no error of grammar of language or any scientific error.it mentions the scientific discoveries of today 1400 years ago.imagine could a human being do that.no not al all.it is eternal.a human can not produce an eternal book.moreover it has no contradiction even.quran says if it were not the book of allah it would have alot of contradictions.but it has no contradiction.
Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy. [Qur'an 4:82]
brother i would like to say that if you want to analyze islam.plz do not look at the followers look at the quran and then draw some conclusion.and if you look at the followers than look ate the prophet muhammad pbuh.you will find all about the prophet muhammad in quran do not go for the forged Ahadiths.
i think it is a satisfacory answer.it is my humble effort to learn and spread the beautiful Quran.plz tell me whether i am making some sense.
God bless you my brother .

| Salam-alaikum Dr. Sahib,
6:151 and 17:31 says “do not kill your children due to fear of poverty”, but as today science is advanced to the level that one can see the unborn fetus and identify its condition. Then if the fetus is abnormal to-be child then can one abort the fetus or is it a crime? Aborting such fetus is for the sake of relieving pain that the child has to suffer in this world. This way, are we not relieving some human of its pain and doing a good deed or are we murdering the child and becoming a sinner? (in 18:74, Moses’ companion for journey killed a young boy to relieve the burden for his parents. Is this correctly translated or does it mean something else?)
In 3:6 “He is the One who shapes you in the wombs as He wills”. So according to this God is the one who creates as he wills. But I would like to know if I am missing some point to understand “why would God Almighty create mentally retarded, physically disabled and children with genetic disorders” and so on”. If a person loses his mental balance in his adult stage we can assume it is the result (jahannam) of his misdeeds or if a person becomes lame that is the result (jahannam) of his cruelties. But the unborn has not committed any crime at all.

| Dear Mohyam,
If God does not exist, then who designed this Universe and everything in it? Moreover, without proper care and maintenance our universe would descend into chaos and disintegrate. We see that our universe is perfectly designed, organized, and maintained. Just take a look at our own Solar System. Sun is precisely located at 93 millions miles away from earth. Who placed it there? What will happen if sun is moved a bit closer or further away from earth? Moreover, our sun along with its planets (including our earth) has been orbiting around a giant black hole at the center of our galaxy at a mind boggling speed of 135 miles per second or 486000 miles per hour since its creation about 4.5 billion years ago. Why it never veered off its prescribed path or met an accident? Who is the Designer, Keeper, and Protector of this system?
Sure we cannot see God at the present time, but we can still learn about the Creator by studying His creation. You will be surprised to discover that indeed God has left His Signature on everything He has created. Just study the structure and works of DNA. You got 75 to 100 trillion cells in your body and each one of them carries your DNA, which controls the structure as well as the functions of your body. Francis Collins, Director of the National Center for Human Genome Research, rightly calls it “The Language of God”. If you do not believe in God, then tell us who wrote this extremely complex code and squeezed it into such a tiny space in all living things including the plants?
