| Dear Moazzam Bhai,
I have already taken up this verse two days ago ,answering about prophet Esa (JESUS) under verse6 of sura 61 ,responding to Mr Aftabs question.
All those verses ,where interpretation is done as prediction of any future event or a prophet is not correct, because, then it will give an impression of preplanned programming by the divine authority, and hence no free will for the humans,
Specifically this verse 129 of sura 2 is wrongly interpreted for coming of prophet Mohammads .
Prophet Ibrahim asked to depute a messenger in that community from amongst them who will recite and teach the divine commandments and its logic and will purify them “
Now consider the era of Ibrahim and the era of fulfillment of his wish? ( a gap of more than two and half thousand years )
Do you think anybody would like to wish for the people of two and half thousand years after………. or he will wish for the the people of his own time.
Well,………I think nobody has ever wished or will ever wish for his generation coming even after a century. But everybody wishes for his immediate coming generation.
So to interpret this wish for prophet Mohammad is very wrong otherwise the fulfillment by the divine authority is very late.

| Thank you Dr. sahib,i got it.In the light of your interpretation of verse 61/6,2/129,(i convinced with) after Muhammad (pbuh) to date,the Dean,has also been multilated by intrigues.My question is about the comming of rusul in this era of darkness,where the divine code of social conduct has been changed into performance of rituals, as usual been in post prophit era.The true interpretation of Quraan (as yours) is not seen in centuries back almost all "muslim ummah"been de-tracked.Kindly enlighten us and solve our query at this issue. | |
