"Muslim is a person who protects the rights of other peoples and as such Momin is the one who provide peace to fellow citizens".

Please also refer to verse 3:64. Muhammad Asad's translation.
Say: "O followers of earlier revelation! Come unto that tenet which we and you hold in common: that we shall worship none but God, and that we shall not ascribe divinity to aught beside Him, and that we shall not take human beings for our lords beside God." And if they turn away, then say: "Bear witness that it is we who have surrendered ourselves unto Him."

The aya says "that we shall worship none but God", it does not say "that we shall not believe none but God"

My question is can two persons with different belief system work together to achieve goals of muslim/momin? If so, then how? If it's possible then what do they need in common to be successful?

Dear Brother Waqar! Salam.
Remember; this Alkitab is common between Muslims(Quranists) and others (religious so called muslim) ,both are Ahl e kitab.
Both of them agree upon the text of Alkitab,(especially at the core message described in verse 3/64).
The actual matter is/has/had been the elaboration of ALKITAB(the religious intrigues normally devastates the message by their tact / tricks) as described in verses 3/70-73.
So this is the call to come at the above said commonalities.

LOOK AT THE TERMINOLOGIES SUCH AS YAHOOD,NASARAH,AHL ALKITAB(NO SPECIFIC SECT OR RELIGION HAS BEEN DESCRIBED IN QURAN).
REMEMBER, NO WORSHIP BEEN DESCRIBED IN QURAN, RATHER ESTABLISHMENT OF ISLAMIC STATE ( TO CATER THE PEACE AND HARMONY AMONG SOCIETIES) IS DEMONDED BY THE MOMINEEN/AHL E KITAB.
The verse 3/64 should be taken in the context of the subject, I already explained at other thread.
