I mean homo sapiens, wrote it that way because there was not enough space- So what is in the Quran, is the same thing written over and over again in different ways? :-O How did the Quran benefit YOU as an individual?

Sister Nargis,

A million dollar question, no a billion dollar question, no , no your question has no price.
Price less question.

You are a real thinker . Well I think the purpose is to know your creator. Why he wants us to know him?
Perhaps that is how we can love him. We can attain his nearness.

:-O How did the Quran benefit YOU as an individual? by Nargis

Quran tells you attributes required to be inculcated in your personality to attain his
nearness/immortality which is a joy/bliss for ever.

"To evolve from homo's to higher levels? why is it beneficial to follow such a criterion?" by Nargis

I think some criterion had to be.

Salaam;

Law of nature, a process based on survival of the fittest. Few species came into existence, struggled for survival, and it resulted in what we call evolution. Out of these species, one was mankind. It is obvious that all the species of animals on earth, somehow consume other living organisms for example; plants and other animals, for their survival, and this is according to the same basic law i.e. survival of the fittest.
Mankind, having free will as well as the ability to think and reflect, enjoys a special status on this earth. Free will accompanied by two basic elements, greed and selfishness, makes mankind a dangerous species overall. What I mean to say is that, other animals may have slight traces of greed or selfishness but they still follow the natural laws, consuming what is necessary for their survival. On the other hand, the most dangerous species i.e. mankind under the influence of greed, selfishness and infinite love for power, carries a tendency of self annihilation.
This can be seen throughout the history and even today, mankind under influence of the negative aspects of free will, is utilizing all it's abilities and potentials to control wealth and resources through war, aggression, suppression, subjugation, cheating or fraud.
Starting from the time known as stone age, till the modern times of scientific and industrial revolution, conquering and subjugating other societies, capturing their resources using force, has been a common practice. The concept of empires has now been converted to a new aspect known as corporations, however the basic objective is same.

As per my understanding, Quran or any other message has not been transmitted through a direct contact between the creator and human being. There is no supernatural medium for this transmission, rather it's a natural process where few sensible human beings having the capacity to think and comprehend, pondered on the nature and realized the danger being faced by mankind in form of self annihilation due to greed and selfishness. These individuals tried to convey whatever they learned through the book of nature, and they compiled these learnings in form of books (in their own languages). One of these books is Quran, which contains all the instructions for mankind to coexist in a state of peace, harmony, growth and development. Following of natural laws, agreement in terms of do's and don'ts, contradiction to the concepts of suppression and transgression, all these are the constituents of AL-KITAAB which clearly tells us to think, using our own intellect, reflect according to our capacities and act as a useful components in the society. Quranic instructions are based on principles that apply to all eras, places and all societies.

Note: This is what I have learned and I am not sure whether I was able to express my understanding in a proper way or not. Please feel free to add your comments and do correct me if you think I am wrong.

Dear Manmo Momin, i wish i had those millions an billions, but thank god i dont need them,,,i can survive with priceless things haha.

Before when I read Allama Parwez I learned a lot, but was not satisfied with the answers to my questions regarding Malaika, Nisa, Baqarah etc.

I have always hated to speculate and "daydream", that was sooo girly girly

People always had a stupid but in their mind, a cute and cuddly story to deflect from the actual question. But those questions were answered when I understood the Quran from Dr. Uncle Qamar Zaman

This is some of what I have personally learned from the Quran and developed me as a human being.

* I have become immune to rumors

* I accept nothing without proof

* I do not speculate

* I will don’t get angry when someone doesn’t understand the Qur'an's, have learned that just as I reject their stupidity, they have the right to reject whatever they want to… That’s how the Creator made us, with the free will

* I've learned to demand more of myself in terms of contributing to humanity - physical assistance or advance my own work so people can learn from my thoughts…in other words, put my fingerprints on planet earth…why die?

* Have been super conscious of WHY people do what they do and WHY people are the way they are ( Argg they used to make me sooo angry, i could beat them up— Still, i have the courage to fight them, phir who banaye ge allo parathe, main karo gi kungfu karatte)

* I've learned not to get angry in debates, and take it easy without losing my beauty sleep...yawn, zzzz

* I’m getting very strong, able to face every lie without being afraid of them or their rumors about me.

* Before I was foolhardy, now I'm sensible.

*Before I was hotheaded, now I’m prudent

* Now I’m courageous, daring, and fearless- I’m not subject to my own feelings the way it used to be; now they are subject for my decisions

* I have more acceptances for people and their thoughts; I do not judge them so I feel better myself

* I've learned to appreciate the world...

* It’s nothing like "my country", "my people", "my nation", “my cast”, “and my bloodline” anymore, now I consider every person who reflects my thoughts, "my country"

Anyone who is suffering is "my people"

Anyone who performs something the way it should be, how it deserve to be carried out, is "my nation"

Anyone who is standing shoulder to shoulder with me, is my “cast and bloodline”

(That’s why I didn’t hurt that much when India won the semifinal hahaha)

To me this is a huge difference and I appreciate it. I "speculate" that man became homo sapiens from Neanderthale etc, then there must be a higher level..if we came here from there, then there is from here to up there ..But that would be within "homo sapiens"- In Science of mind and behavior chapter five it is said

Sensation is the stimulus detection process by which our sens organs respond to and translate enviromental stimuli into nerve impulses that are sent to the brain. Perception involves making "sense" of what our senses tell us. It is the active process of organizing this stimulus input and giving it meaning.Because it is an active and creative process, the sam sensory input may be percieved in different ways at different times.

F ex. read A I3 C

and 12 I3 I4,,,

the middle symbols in both sets are exactly the same, and they sent identical inut to our brain, but we precieved them differently because our interpretation or perception of the characters was influenced by its context.

thats how perception takes us beyond our sensation....it is also said our senses are higly developed and we are not using "it all"...

Is the Quran a guideline to stimulate those parts who are in use in such a way that they can develope those parts in our senses, which are not yet used?

the power of perception can be illustrated in our "bad doa" rituals.

Decades ago, physiologis Walter cannon (1942) suggested a possible mechanism for death by "magic curses".Cannon drew on his own research on sever stress responses in animals, as well as eyewitness reports by cultural anthropologists of death by magic curses. One such account described the practice of "boning" the place of a death curse by pointing a sacred bone at the victim.

“the man who discovers that he is being boned by any enemy, is indeed a pitiable sight… his cheeks blanch and his eyes become glassy… his body begins to tremble and the muscles twitch involuntarily…soon after he writhes as if in mortal agony. Unless help is forthcoming in the shape of countercharm administered by the…medicine man, his death is only matter of a comparatively short time (Basedow, 1925 pp. 178-9)”

Cannon noted that in the cases of death by magic curses, the victim firmly BELIEVED that he or she was doomed, For the victim, this belief represents the psychological level of analysis. At the environmental level, this belief was supported by the victim’s family, friends, enemies and the culture. T the biological level of analysis, Cannon speculated that the victims beliefs triggered a profound and persistent stress response, a flood of stress hormones (Chemical released by glands in the body)- Sending the victim into physiological shock. Cannons research had shown that one aspect of such shock is a rapid and often fatal drop in blood pressure as stress hormones allow fluid to leak out of veins and capillaries, He noted that normal autopsy procedures would not detect this mechanism of death, making it appear, that there was no natural cause (Science of mind an behavior p 7)

Oh dear, blood pressure high nahi hone dena,,, So i have learnt that the Quran teaches us to stay in touch with the reality...at least we are saved from these magic curse deaths....

Thank you Nargis for educating your UN-educated Manmoon. Unfortunately, none could answer
your question. How you are satisfied?

"What is the fundamental subject matter encompassed in the Quran? What is the purpose of the contents of the Quran, why do we need this recommendation? To evolve from homo's to higher levels? why is it beneficial to follow such a criterion?"

Sometimes dreams come true so it is too early, early for you to say "I have always hated to speculate and

"daydream", that was sooo girly girly"
