Dear Moazzam Bhai May God bless you,
Mankind can be divided for the sake of knowledge into different categories like
Good and Bad
Law abiders and criminals
Scientists and nonscientists etc
Whereever mankind is categorised into Ins انس and Gin جن it is categorised on the basis of Humanity.
انس means to be social and جن means concealed.
So this category is on the basis of social structure of the society.those who are social and known to each other are called انس and those who remain away from the society are called جن .
Whereas جن and ملائکہ are the categories on the basis of their duties. So you have to see the context of the word or terminology used.
