| It gives us great pleasure in announcing that the English Translation of Dr. Qamar Zaman’s most voluminous and outstanding Book, Haqiqat-e-Salaat is now complete and the Book is now available at www.aastana.com for downloading. It consists of 252 pages in PDF format.
The translation of this most popular book was much awaited and we have been under substantial pressure to expedite this work. So, we thank the Almighty that with His blessings, our perseverance and magnificent teamwork, we have been able to accomplish this important task before long. | Dear Brothers and Sisters,
At aastana.com we strive to remove contradictions and discrepancies surrounding Quran due to inaccurate translations/interpretations of Quranic words and terms. In no way we are giving new meanings to the Quranic words or terms. Rather we are simply removing the alien meanings, which the early Jewish/Zoroastrian clergy, disguised as Muslim Imams, purposefully wrapped around the Quranic words to adulterate the pristine message of Quran and to render it useless for the masses. In other words we are restoring the original and accurate meanings. We do so through intensive study of Arabic language and its syntax and semantics. Also, our research involves studying and reviewing history as well as modern sciences and applying this knowledge to understand Quran in its true spirit. As a result we are able to present to the world the truly universal and benevolent image of the Quran. The Quran's Message is indeed for all humanity and it guarantees peace, security and prosperity to those who act upon it. Whatever is already widespread and believed to be true actually consists of a very poor, illogical hotchpotch, not acceptable to that majority of the modern humanity that does not follow the "blind faith" doctrine and is more prone to exercise its God given intellect. The traditional Quranic concepts are no longer compatible with the advancement in knowledge and sciences. As a result, Muslims have been left far behind in the journey of material progress and mental evolution. We all know that the best policy has always been to concentrate upon your work and ignore those who raise their obnoxious voices against you. They oppose you just because their convictions stand unsubstantiated and their egos are hurt by your research-oriented discoveries; and by the rational and intellectual improvements you are affording to Quranic meanings. However, as the world has become a "global village" and 'information' has entered most of billions of homes throughout the globe, malicious propaganda works and does have its harmful effects upon the audiences. So, your kind attention is drawn to those who claim to be Quranists and maintain that their most up-to-date interpretation of Quran is the last and the final word on Quranic understanding. The only argument they present is that their rendition is done "in full public view". A hollow argument apparently! Probably they wish to emphasize that as they did not receive objections from public during the course of their rendition so it must automatically assume a consensus and a widespread acceptance. We think that is a self deceit! We have always in the past given them, as well as the other opposing individuals, due respect and have appreciated their efforts in the cause of Quranic understanding. However, they have recently exposed themselves as the ultimate monopolists over Quran and its understanding. They have adopted a totally un-Quranic methodology in asserting their monopoly. They have unleashed a vicious, uncalled for, personal level propaganda campaign against Dr. Qamar Zaman and his purely research-oriented Quranic exposition. Rather than making polite inquiries, or going into technicalities of the points of difference, they have resorted to personal attacks, use of unparliamentary language and outright abuse. They might later on regret this for ever, as they know they are not going to find a humbler and a gentler person than Dr. Qamar Zaman. They are ascribing the personal comments of "aastana.com" participants to Dr. Qamar Zaman and subsequently mis-using those to criticize him, as if those may be his words and his language, or the policy of "aastana.com". You know, AastanaBlog is an open forum where participants are always respected and can post whatever their flair for learning demands. Some of them are not proficient in Engllish and some even use the Roman Urdu style of writing, just because they are living in Pakistan. We do not turn away or belittle any brother/sister who may lack good language skills. We emphasis gaining and spreading the knowledge and, hence, enable masses to understand the Message of the Quran. Also, we support all Quran-oriented brothers/sisters and appreciate their works. Our website is a new one and we are working hard to improve it. Those brothers, just because they are settled in the West, hold our deficiency in English speech in utter contempt and make it a target of sarcasm. They believe we are devoid of the faculty to enter the realm of Quranic understanding. And that we "neither know the Arabic, nor Urdu, nor the English." It is not the policy of aastana.com to be rude and impolite. We continue respecting other standpoints and we put our research very humbly to others for their academic and literary analysis. We are always eager to look from alternate angles. We remain attentive to receive, discuss and answer the queries. We declare that whenever we are proved wrong on any point, on linguistic and rational basis, we will not be hesitant to change our interpretations accordingly. That's why there is no censor on AastanaBlog. We are not scholars or Ulemas or intellectuals; we are just in a learning process and our core doctrine and our main emphasis are the establishment of Quran's absolute authority as the only universal, unbiased, and the ultimate guidance for the humanity. Pages of aastana.com are witness to the fact that we have always mentioned those brothers with respect and have appreciated their work. They have not made any technical query with respect to our interpretations. We would definitely have thankfully obliged by offering detailed justifications. We are at a loss to understand their hatred and their foul mouthing. The only conclusion we can draw is that perhaps there may be an egoistic or some psychic problems at their end. We pray that this fire of hatred in their minds is subdued. We invite them to come up with their questions. And we promise to either offer satisfactory answers or give up our stance if proved wrong. We request them to become our companions as our mutual journey is one and the same. Human intellect and knowledge, together with its logic and rationality, are advancing at a lightening pace. They would definitely be left far behind if they continued believing and telling the modern world that:
They would soon be a laughing stock of the whole world! There is no logic in most of their translations; and they perpetuate the traditional aura of myth, magic and irrationality in Quranic meanings in these modern times. They still believe that Quran (its values) is a Muslim monopoly and that righteousness is an exclusive right of "believers". Thus, they believe that "others" will be sent to Hell. We must appreciate the voices of reason among them - and there are many, and we applaud them all for their sincere efforts. You already know there are no restrictions here except the one to observe respect for humanity. You know we have not even mentioned the persistent disrespect of humanity by the above group until they crossed all the limits, and it became imperative. So we reiterate our policy of respect for humanity and our firm resolve not to indulge in retaliation of abusive and libelous rhetoric against us. | We feel pleasure in announcing that the long awaited project of a regular, integrated translation of Quran by Dr. Qamar Zaman, in his purely literary and rational style of rendition, has been inaugurated.
The work will proceed towards its destination with utmost zeal, caution and a multiple check and evaluation system in order to reduce the chances of error and misrepresentation to the minimum. The completed Chapters will be on display from time to time for all the well-wishers for their valuable comments and suggestions. Please do come forward and afford all possible help and assistance in this valuable assignment. Members are requested to propose a befitting TITLE for this rendition. | ||
