 | salaam and thank you Dr. Sahib, brother Aurangazaib and brother Moazzam for your kind replies. I knew according to Quran there is no command for such utterance. but i was a bit confused when i came across such words (i,e pbuh) in english version of haqeeqat-e-salaat on page numbers 3, 44,218 and 222 for our prophet and for prophet Abraham on page 38. I was just wondering if it meant something. I am impressed with brother Aurangazaib's point of view in this regard. thank you all once again for your replies.| Date : 8/28/2010 | >>View Detail |

 | Salam Dr. Sahib,
Thank you for your reply. I was expecting your answer in a day or two. And yes as a student of science it is very easy to answer this question. But just as you said, as a student of Quran it stops us from saying so. I believe that God is very very merciful and don’t find an answer to my question fully. And the more I think about these things, the more I am restless. I agree with you that this conflict may lead to the negation of divinity and hence I shall give up my query at this point. Probably some day we might find an answer to this. May God give you success in your mission.
thanks to you too brother Aurangazaib.

Dear brother Aurangazaib, salam
Yes we shall wait for Dr. Sahib to explain 18:74 and I am sure he will InshaAllah come up with a wonderful explanation.
Getting back to my Q on “we sow they reap”, I know we bear the bulk of the brunt, but whatever little pain the abnormal child bears, is not due to his/her deeds. I know a lady (in her late 50’s) who is MR and has to be taken care of, just like an infant. Her mother passed away few years back and this lady is now with her elder sister. So if the parents are responsible for the pain of this child, why the elder sister is now suffering? Moreover, this MR lady has dental problems and she holds her cheek with a pitiful face, it makes us all cry. She also has severe constipation problem. She underwent a hysterectomy a few years back. Why is she suffering all this?
2:155 and 3:186 say that we will be tested through some fear, our money and lives. Is this correctly translated or as per the prevalent translation, we will be tested with such abnormal children, untimely death of our children (Stillbirth) etc.

 | dear brother Aurangazaib, salaam, i too agree with you on this. i too don't want to lose a gem. public appearance can be done, but i don't think it will help, rather as you said the mullahs will only oppose such intellect. i pray for Dr. Sahib's good health and good life. may he progress in his work.| Date : 7/19/2010 | >>View Detail |

 | Dear brother Aurangazaib,
Thank you for your participation in this discussion. Very beautifully u have explained the facts related to abnormalities in human life at birth.
I understand completely that we reap what we sow, but in the case of abnormal children, we sow and they reap. If parents are at fault they should face the music, why the children? That is the only reason I wanted to know the true meaning of 3:6. What is its correct translation? Or rather what does “as he wills” mean with regards to human creation. Please also explain 18:74.
To brother per gee, thanks for your answer too. We are not blaming God for such things. I did mention in my question “if I am missing some point to understand”. And indeed as u mentioned, I personally feel that one of the best creation/design of our Lord is the birth of a living being and human in particular. I know the beautiful stages of this journey

 | Dear Dr. Samreen, salaam, i completely understand your view as i am a science student myself and know all the facts stated by you. I expect Dr. Sahib to answer my Q in the light of the Quran. i believe that God is the creator of life and death, he is the controller of everything including nature, chromosomes, placenta etc etc. so according to 3:6 "he creates as he wills". As God gave the sun a definite mode of action and to date we haven't seen the sun disobey the Lords' commands, then why do chromosomes do?| Date : 7/16/2010 | >>View Detail |
