 | Dear Brother Aurangzaib/Moazzam,
Thanks again, I been a non-ritual muslim for very long, rituals to me means, meditation, chanting etc, and are part of every institutionalised religions in the world. I have read most of the books and articles on your website.
Brother Aurangzaib, beliefs are develop overtime and can change but faith is something we are born with. e.g Does God exist? don't exist? are the questions mainly decided by faith not by arguments or reasons because I have known people equally capable to establish or disprove the notion.
The reasons behind my questions are basically to put aastana into perspective and to know aastana's views on the finality of Prophethood, the limitation of Quranic message in relation to time and space, and beliefs in hereafter.
Brothers, there is no foreground without a background?
I appreciate the work you guys are doing and will look forward to hear from you.
Salam,

 | Dear Brother,
Thanks for reply, I actually had a good conversation with Dr Zaman few days ago, he listen and answered my question very patiently and intelligibily, however after talking with him I am baffled about couple of issues and need further clarification?
1. What are the beliefs/understanding of aastana in relation to finality(seal) of Prophethood? Do aastana consider Quran the final message/guidence for mankind?
2. Dr sahib has refer to God/Allah as nature during his conversation? Do asstana consider Buddha as Nabi (prophet)? Has the name of Buddha been mentioned in Quran? what's aastana's understanding of hereafter?| Date : 8/19/2010 | >>View Detail |
